The young people in the central municipality of Ablekuma are calling on President Akufo-Addo to dismiss the head of the Municipal Council (MCE), the Honourable Mariama Carli Amuyi, or hold him responsible for any bloodshed in the community.
The group called for the resignation of the President for failure to perform his duties and for the loss of his seat in Parliament by the opposition party NDC.
In a speech to the media in downtown Ablekum, the group said the ERM had only funded and sponsored the vote on the skirt and blouse to prevent the MP from denouncing the Assembly’s rotten and shady actions since its inception.
The group pointed out that a few days before the elections, in an attempt to make the MP unpopular, the MCE decided to close shops in our fortress (Abossey Okai Spare Parts) and expose voters to high levels of intimidation and inhumane treatment by its staff through its instructions.
Clear evidence was provided when sellers of spare parts, in a post-election interview conducted by Citifm team members about why they voted against the Abossey Okai party, admitted the closure of the store by the assembly as well as poor sanitary conditions as the basis for their decision.
According to a certain Samuel Ofori, the MCE secretly met the NDC CP and financed its campaigns against the NPP CP.
The same MCE claimed to have spent the sum of 9 billion sedykh on the renovation of the two-storey building without proper control and without value for money.
When the rider leaders and the member realized this and tried to rectify the ERM abuses, they teamed up with some members of the House to fight the member and his leadership.
The Honourable Member Abana Yakubu Asoke, Member of the Nnemeth constituency assembly, who is also chairman and first vice-chairman of the party, is among those with whom she has agreed to oust the member.
The President of the MP who was seen suffering and celebrating the loss of the MPs also preached the skirt and blouse with his compatriots, the man of the assembly Abossi Okai, the Honourable Tubai Amuda and Muntari Wahab to all members of the PNA.
MUZ also contacted a constituency organizer, Mrs. Dora Osei Boateng, who was also Mataheko’s double account holder to destroy the MP. Dora Osei Boateng, who since 2016 has openly expressed her hatred for the MP, has also openly spoken out against the MP.
Eric Arthur, the director of the polling station in the centre of Ablekuma, explained to the journalist why they decided to call the head of the MCE.
He said: Among the many corrupt practices during COWID-19, our MUH has decided to hand over government aid items to NDC workers in the Assembly rather than to NPP members. The same ERM transferred the Ayapa coal pot to the NDC members at the expense of our strongholds, resulting in our losses.
This woman succeeded in destroying the NPP structures in Ablekuma Central, exposed party members to high levels of abuse in the Assembly and expelled them 1 A9 when they asked her for help.
How can we work with an ERM that has been incompetent in development and has had to rest everything on the shoulders of a hardworking Member of Parliament to be able to carry it? An ERM only interested in getting high marks for work that hasn’t been done?
He warned that the group would organize a series of protests and demonstrations if its request was not granted by the president.
