G.B.H is a British hip-hop group from London, England composed of rappers Goldie and Roll Deep. They are known for their streetwise lyrics and hardcore sound.

G.B.H. stands for Guitar, Bass, and Drum. They are a British rock band from the late 1980s to the early 1990’s. The members of G.B.H were Colin Abrahall on guitar, bassist Andy Bown on guitar, drummer Chris Allen, and keyboardist Phil Thornalley.

Leather, Bristles, Studs and Acne G.B.H. (also known as Charged G.B.H.) were one of the first bands to bring a significant heavy metal influence to punk music, and would be acknowledged as an inspiration by Metallica and Rancid. They were also one of the major bands of the street punk movement that provided a second wind to the U.K. punk rock scene. G.B.H. was founded in 1978 by lead vocalist Colin Abrahall, guitarist Colin “Jock” Blyth, bassist Sean McCarthy, and drummer Andrew “Wilf” Williams in Birmingham, England. The name of the band is derived from the British legal phrase “Grievous Bodily Harm,” which bassist McCarthy was charged with. McCarthy was only with the band for a short time, and by the end of their first year, Ross Lomas had taken over on bass. Charged G.B.H. initially earned their reputation performing across the United Kingdom, and after signing a contract with Clay Records, they released their first EP, Leather, Bristles, Studs, and Acne, in 1981. The group’s debut album, City Baby Attacked by Rats, was released in 1982, and it was followed by further touring, including their first trip to the United States. Charged G.B.H. issued their follow-up, City Baby’s Revenge: 101 Ways to Kill a Rat, in 1983, and their debut album for Rough Justice Records, Midnight Madness and Beyond, in 1986, by which time they’d abbreviated their name to G.B.H. In the same year, drummer Williams left the band, and Kai Reder, previously of Napalm, took over as G.B.H.’s new drummer. In 1987, No Need to Panic was released, and in 1989, A Fridge Too Far was released. While many of the big street punk and Oi! bands of the 1980s faded away (if they were still there at all), G.B.H. stayed active. Throughout the 1990s and into the new millennium, the band produced a continuous stream of live and studio recordings and toured extensively, giving their fans exactly what they wanted. Thrash metal bands like Metallica and Slayer cited G.B.H. as an influence at this time, which helped the band reach a new audience. Lars Fredericksen of Rancid, a longstanding admirer of G.B.H., paid them back in 2010 by publishing their album Perfume and Piss on his Hellcat Records label. G.B.H. proved their longevity in 2017 with the release of Momentum, a studio album for Hellcat, almost 40 years after they originally formed.

G.B.H. is a rapper from the United States who has released two studio albums, The Miseducation of Geronimo and G.B.H. Reference: gbh exploited lyrics.
