Muhammad Jassim Abdulkarim Olayan al-Dafiri (Muhammad Emwazi) was a militant and member of the extremist Islamic group Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.
He was known to have beheaded several Western hostages and was nicknamed Jihadi John.
